Bakeet vintage 174 x 104cmA 1940s Shiraz rug from Fars in south west Persia. Terracotta lozenge shaped field with running dog outline and stepped light brown centre medallion. Light brown spandrels, all over stylized flowering plants. Ivory linked flowerhead main border and ribbon guards. All wool construction. Slight wear in places, a patch of slight discoloration to lower left corner and a small crease at one end but otherwise in good condition. 182 x 119cm
