The elements of the field are large shapes of color that depict extremely stylized leaves, branches and flowers. As with many of Voysey's designs from the 1890's, the Wykehamist was also produced as a wallpaper by Essex & Co. and as a woven textile by Alexander Morton & Sons (Donegal
