Light Leaks Type:Unframed Part of the Woolshed seriesLate afternoon light finds its way into Female Ward 9 of the Kirkbride Complex, cutting clean shafts through the darkness and catching dust suspended in the still air. This ward was part of the ten ward pavilion layout designed by Colonial Architect James Barnet and Inspector General of the Insane Frederic Norton Manning, ground broken in 1880 and first occupied in 1884.
